Dear Friends and Supporters,

With sincere appreciation for your relentless solidarity for my engagements, I'm once again needing your spontaneous support for my next Networking round in West Africa from 25. August - 06. September 2017.

With the 2016 networking rounds, i have been able to established an impressive transnational communication between myself and local grassroot networks in different West African countries. From our intensive exchange, the need for routine visit as diaspora activist was emphasised as necessary for active cooperation and solidarity.
With the series of consultations targeted at enforcing aggressive Migration control (capacity building for Border management) in disguise for development cooperation like the recently concluded GFMDs and the ongoing Global Compact on Safe, Orderly and regular Migration needs to get to the grassroots.

With the African CSO consultation to the Global compact planned to take place in Bamako from 28-29 August, i intend to mobilise grassroots activist participation beyond the usual tradition of mainstream CSOs/NGOs as observers.

In cooperation with local Networks in Agadez, Niamey, Conakry, Bamako, this trip will experience workshop presentations and exchanges at the different Cities.  Interviews will also be collected for a planned documentation on the actual political context of economic reason for flight. The documentation will be presented such that basic political education for refugees/migrants is guaranteed.

See outcome of the interviews from 2016 networking trip:  http://cultureofdeportation.org

The cost for the 16 days trip is so far estimated as follows;
Flight         :      2160
Hotel          :       800
Per Diems  :       480
Misc.(logistics/Meetings/Travel/Materials etc) : 1000

Your spontaneous response will be highly appreciated even at this short notice. The booked Flights needs to be paid up immediately to avoid further increase as the case may be in this season.
